Steal A Tree Tree Ranks S to F

Juice efficiency, gnome risk, and Index value — commons pay first, crystal waits.

Tier List Hub

Steal A Tree is a juice tycoon, not a combat ladder. You steal saplings from gnome gardens, plant fruit on a 6-player plot, and dump the harvest into a vat. This hub ranks trees S through F on three axes: juice efficiency, steal risk, and Index value. A glowing screenshot can still be a bad steal if you cannot outrun the gnome.

Use this page to pick the next sapling. Then open the pet role ranks and the trail speed ranks so cash, speed, and helpers point at the same loop.

How these ranks are scored

Juice efficiency is how reliably a tree feeds the vat. Steal A Tree does not publish a public income spreadsheet you should treat as law. Watch the fruit on your plot and the cash after each dump. Common cube-fruit saplings score high because you can plant several and keep banana, apple, and orange flowing while the vat is still rusty.

Steal risk is the gnome. Garden gnomes guard plots. Candy event gnomes show up in limited windows and punish slow carries. The rarer the tree, the longer you hold it in the open, and the more the other five players on the server can cut you off. Crystal and rainbow trees are marketed around a 1 in 1,000,000 tease. That number is a flex headline, not a reason to sprint in with starter speed.

Index value is discovery. The in-game Index tracks trees, fruit, mutations, and pets you have actually obtained. A new entry is worth claiming even when the tree is a poor juicer. Commons fill the first rows. Ultra-rares fill the last ones. Do not skip a safe apple because a thumbnail told you only crystal counts.

S-tier early: commons and cube fruit

S on a new plot is the common cube sapling. Grab the closest fruit tree, run home, plant it, and juice. Apple, banana, and orange trees belong here while you still have a rusty vat. They are volume, not trophies. Three planted commons beat one rare you drop in a gnome tag.

Spend that juice on vat and plot upgrades before you hunt a rainbow silhouette. Capacity and dump speed raise every tree you already own. A crystal in a tiny rusty vat is a museum piece that does not pay the treadmill.

A and B fruit: grape through pineapple

Grape and strawberry trees sit in A once you can finish a mid-garden steal. They still juice well, they add Index rows, and they do not demand endgame speed. Watermelon and pineapple sit in B for new thieves: bigger fruit, better juice once planted, longer carry if you are slow. After a gold vat and real treadmill work, watermelon and pineapple climb. Juice per harvest starts to matter more than panic.

If two fruit types juice about the same on your vat, pick the steal you can actually finish. A planted grape is worth more than a pineapple you never bring home.

Crystal, rainbow, and F-tier timing

The crystal or rainbow tree is S for late flex and Index. It is F if you steal it with no speed. You will get tagged. You will drop the sapling. You will walk back while commons could have been juicing. Treat ultra-rares as a planned run after mutation hunting and treadmill work, not as a first-hour trophy.

Event trees behind a candy gnome follow the same rule. If you cannot outrun that gnome tonight, the tree is F for you, no matter how it looks in a clip. Come back after Steps, Trails, or a cleaner route.

What to plant after a steal

Plant what you can juice this session. Fill empty plot slots with commons before you babysit one rare. Mutated fruit is extra Index value; it is not a reason to leave half the garden empty. When the Index already has the common, keep juicing it anyway until the gold vat and Iron Treadmill are online.

If the steal needs a Trail you have not earned, leave the crystal and juice another apple.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers Steal A Tree players ask after every weekend patch.

Is the crystal tree always S-tier in Steal A Tree?

No. Crystal and rainbow trees are S for late Index and flex. They are F if you steal them with starter speed and a rusty vat. Commons are S for early cash.

Which fruit trees should I plant first?

Apple, banana, and orange commons. They juice steadily and sit close enough that garden gnomes are manageable. Save watermelon and pineapple for after vat upgrades.

Do you publish official juice numbers for each tree?

No. This wiki does not invent income tables. Read the in-game Index and your vat output. Ranks here are juice reliability, steal risk, and Index value.

Where do pets and Trails fit next to trees?

Trees feed the vat. Rank helpers on the pet tier list and movement on the trail tier list after juice is flowing.

Should I steal during a candy gnome event?

Only if you can outrun the candy gnome. Event trees are A when the carry is clean and F when the event gnome is faster than you.
